Vineyards region: Marche , province of Ancona.
Location of the vines: selection of a few vineyards in the classic area of Verdicchio production.
Grape: 100% Verdicchio.
Growing system: spurred row and reversed.
Planting density: 1700-3000 stalks per hectare.
Yield per hectare: 11000 Kg . of grapes per hectare.
Age of the vines: 8-30 years.
Soil: mix of clay and sand of Miocene and Pliocene origin.
Exposure and altitude: 250- 400 m . above sea level.
Alcohol gradation: 12,50 % Vol.
Winemaking: all the phases are carried out without oxygen, in settings saturated with inert gas, in order to preserve the product from dangerous oxidation. Soft pressing and cold decantation of the must. Fermentation with selected yeast at a very low temperature followed by a bottling at low temperature and in settings saturated with inert gas.
Tasting notes: fruity flavours and scent of the vine highlighted in a smooth and elegant wine. To be served at 8- 10°C , with fish, pasta, vegetarian food, white meat not too spiced.
Preservation: wine with a very intense bouquet which gives its best in its youth, within two years from the harvest.
